Some major programs and process changes have taken place this month:

• Elimination of Counterfoils for Approved Permanent Residence Applicants from Visa-Exempt Countries.
   
• Super Visa for Parents and Grandparents now in effect.
   
• PNP Nominations and Quebec Skilled Workers applications for Permanent Residency are now to be filed to the Central Intake Office in Sydney, NS.
   
• Excepting applicants with special needs, CIC will no longer be mailing out application kits to applicants.
   
• There will be no more active monitoring of entrepreneur conditions.
