Nova Scotia
Basic Requirements
- Be between 21 and 55 years of age
- Have functional English or French
- Have sufficient settlement supports
- Have a genuine intention and ability to settle permanently in Nova Scotia
Skilled Worker Stream
- Have a permanent full-time job offer in an eligible occupation
- Have a minimum of two years work experience related to the position
- Have the qualifications, training, transferable skills, and licensing or accreditation required
Family Business Worker Stream
- Have the skills, work experience and any license required for the position
- Have the equivalent of Canadian Grade 12 education
- Las legal status in their country of residence
International Graduate
- Be working on a temporary work permit for the employer in an eligible occupation for at least three months
- Have a certificate, diploma, or degree from a recognized Nova Scotia post-secondary institution
- Have a permanent, full-time job offer from a Nova Scotia employer in their field of study
- Possess the required education, training, qualifications, licensing and accreditation for the position
Community Identified Stream
- Have strong and long-established connections to the specific community through such things as family ties, business connections or past residence
- Possess the skills, training and work experience for future employment in a field or sector required by the community to contribute to its labour market and economy
- Have at least a one year post secondary degree, diploma or certificate
- Have at least one year of relevant work experience in the last five years
