Sense is Not Always Common?
In teaching my class of would be immigration practitioners I always enjoy the first few classes as we embark upon the counter intuitive exercise, sometimes, of being a legal professional. A practitioner can work so diligently with little praise, reward or result and this can be difficult to accept. From a client’s perspective I have always felt that clients do not care what you know until they know you care. But for clients reading this entry always remember that the greatest form of compensation can oftentimes be gratitude. These are common sense principles that sometimes are not very common in the world of law.
