Throwback Thursday: Canada’s First Prime Minister Was an Immigrant

According to Citizenship and Immigration Canada, former Prime Minister Sir John A. Macdonald, Canada’s first prime minister, was an immigrant.  He was born in Scotland on January 11, 1815 and migrated to Canada as a child.
