New Canadians Welcomed in 2014
More than 260,000 people have been welcomed to Canada in 2014. This year happens to be a record high for the number of new Canadians welcomed to Canada. Since 2006, Canada has welcomed over 1,550,000 new Canadians. Over the past year there have been improvements made to the citizen application process, which included reducing the application process from three steps to one.
