Parent and Grandparent Program to Reopen at The Beginning of Next Year

Wonderful news for families! According to Citizenship and Immigration Canada, the parent and grandparent program, or PGP for short, is set to re-open on January 2nd, 2015. According to Citizenship Minister Chris Alexander, the PGP has successfully seen through the reunification of 70 000 parents and grandparents in Canada since 2012. A maximum of 5000 new applications are poised to be accepted in 2015.
