Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a quick yet historic trip to Toronto on Wednesday, April 15. Being the first to make a visit in 42 years, he received a warm welcome from eager crowds, as well as Stephen Harper and his wife at the Ricoh Coliseum. Throughout the evening, he spoke about his country’s present and plans for the future  which include a goal of stimulating economic development, and ensuring that new jobs are created.

However, the trip was not all about business! Wednesday’s event included a colourful dance show that highlights India’s culture.
