Scotiabank Caribbean Festival Brings Excitement to the City!
Formerly known as Caribana, the Scotiabank Caribbean Festival in Toronto is now in full swing. The festivities started on July 7 and are set to go on for three weeks.
During this time, residents from across the city and around the world can enjoy the sights, sounds, and flavours of Caribbean culture as various events are held including the Junior Carnival, Pan Alive, and Carnival Island. The yearly festival will culminate with the Grand Parade, set to take place on August 1st along the Exhibition Place grounds and Lakeshore Boulevard. It fill feature colourful and elaborate costumes, music, floats, and fun for the whole family!
