Count Out the Extreme Cold: Warmer Temperatures Expected this Winter!

When you think of Canada, cold winters and a heavy blanket of snow may come to mind. While all that is true sometimes, this winter promises to offer a bit of a break. That’s right, temperatures are set to hover above the average which means we are in store for a milder season than usual!

Whom do we owe this great news to? Well, you can thank El Nino (a weather phenomenon that you can read all about here) for sweeping some warmth across the country. Of course, all this means that you can get out and enjoy fun outdoor winter activities like skiing, skating, and tobogganing, without fearing a deep freeze.
