Musicals &The City: A Round-Up of the Season’s Shows!
Summer has passed and along with it, so did the prime time for outdoor concerts. Say goodbye to enjoying the tunes of your favourite band under star-speckled skies. Instead, head inside and watch other shows –such as musicals. Here are some that are currently or will soon be on stage in Toronto.
1. Mary Poppins: Only in town for two days, this perfect-for-the-whole-family musical runs from November 21 to the 22nd at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. Click here for more information.
2. Cinderella: See some of your favourite fairytale moments come to life! The Cinderella musical is perfect for kids (and adults) of all ages who have come to love the story. The show makes its debut on December 1st, and will run until January 6, 2015. For details, click here.
3. Sherlock Holmes: If you’re a fan of these classic detective tales that have captivated readers for ages, then you will surely love the musical! Starring David Arquette as Sherlock Holmes, it’s set to take the stage at the Ed Mirvish Theatre between October 27 and November 8. Click here for more.
