Posted by Mario Bellissimo - Bellissimo Law Group PC

The Ministry of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship has announced that Canada will be able to automatically check whether or not air travellers have the necessary documents prior to boarding their flight.

This is set to affect Permanent Residents boarding flights to Canada, they must be prepared to carry and present their valid PR cards or permanent resident travel documents, in addition to their valid passport. If these documents are not valid or travellers are missing them, they may not be permitted to board the flight.
