This Weekend in Toronto: The St. Patrick’s Day Parade!

Posted by Fabiola Arevalo - Bellissimo Law Group PC

Canada’s largest Irish Festival is just around the corner! So, what can we expect this weekend? That’s right, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade! This Sunday, March 13th, Toronto’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns for its 29th year.

The parade will begin at 12:00pm, with the procession beginning at Bloor and St. George. It will then make its way along Bloor Street, down to Yonge, and will end on Queen Street, at Nathan Phillips Square (perhaps with a pot of chocolate gold)!

Don’t miss the opportunity to watch this colourful parade, which not only celebrates the patron Saint of Ireland, but also acknowledges the diversity of Toronto! There will be a variety of floats, Irish dancers, free face paint and much more to enjoy! Spectators are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item in order to help support the Daily Bread Food Bank.

So come out, throw on some green, and partake in this weekend’s Irish fun!
