After Hours Appointments
We understand that it can be difficult for clients to make it into our office for appointments during regular business hours. Mario Bellissimo and BLG staff are available one evening per week for in-person, webcam and telephone appointments until 8 pm. Please contact us if you would like to book an evening appointment and we will be happy to accommodate you.
BLG staff will ask your full name, phone number/e-mail address (we only need the e-mail address if we are scheduling an appointment), how you were referred to us and all other applicable information on the calling record.
Once we have scheduled an appointment, an e-mail confirmation will be sent to you for both e-mail inquiry clients and phone-in inquiry clients.
If you are unable to attend your consultation on the scheduled date and time, please provide us with at least 48 hours notice of cancellation. If we receive at least 48 hours notice of cancellation, you are able to reschedule your appointment within 7 days. If you do not reschedule your appointment in 7 days, or if you do not provide us with 48 hours notice of cancellation, we will be unable to refund any fees that you have paid toward the consultation.
Please note that official photo identification must be presented prior to the consultation. Examples of valid photo identification include a driver’s license, passport, citizenship card, birth certificate, etc. The Law Society of Upper Canada (of which Mario Bellissimo and all our lawyers are members) requires that we have to verify the identity of all clients. These are part of the new rules for client identification as of December 31, 2008.
We offer payment plans to clients, again to ensure everyone has access to justice. We offer lump sum discounts to reward those who pay all at once. We accept most forms of payment including direct payment, VISA, AMEX, INTERAC, MASTERCARD etc. to make it as convenient as possible for our clients.
The Law Society of Upper Canada, of which Mario Bellissimo is a member, mandates the following in relation to client confidentiality:
2.03 (1) A lawyer at all times shall hold in strict confidence all information concerning the business and affairs of the client acquired in the course of the professional relationship and shall not divulge any such information unless expressly or impliedly authorized by the client or required by law to do so.
All clients of Bellissimo Law Group should rest assured that any information they divulge to Mario Bellissimo and his team will remain strictly confidential.
