Certificate of Rehabilitation Approved for Past Conviction

Our client had a dream to re-settle in Canada with the family, although was unable to contemplate this based on a prior criminal conviction overseas dating back over 30 years ago. Despite the conviction being so dated, our client remained criminally inadmissible. Although processing was lengthy, we are pleased that our client recently received the approval of a certificate of rehabilitation to permanently overcome the identified criminal inadmissibility for a conviction equivalent to an offence under the (Canadian) Narcotic Control Act.
