]]> April 22nd marks the 25th annual Earth Day, the largest environmental event in the world. Over six million Canadians participate in an activity pertaining to this event. The Earth Day theme for this year is cleaning your commute which encourages people to walk, bike, bus, or carpool. This year’s event will also launch a new campaign titled Earth Day Every Day which is “a national framework helping Canadians to reduce their carbon footprint by 20% by 2020 via an online, mobile friendly platform”.
