From August 19th to September 5th, the Canadian National Exhibition will be on yet again for the 137th year. Included in the price of admission, you will have access to many fun and interesting activities –including shopping pavilions, a petting zoo, acrobatics and ice skating shows, as well as the annual air show! What are those activities you ask? Well, while there may be too many to name, two of them will surely be popular with residents of the city and tourists alike. Every Wednesday from June 22 to August 31st, guests can catch a featured film during Free Flicks. So take a seat at the outdoor Concert Stage and watch the week’s featured movie by moonlight. If sitting still is not quite your thing and you’d rather keep moving, then Dancing on the Pier is the right choice! On Thursdays between June 23rd and September 1st learn how to dance by the lake, with live bands providing the soundtrack. Grab a partner, comfortable shoes, and salsa your way over!
