Emre obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Windsor in 2019. While in school, Emre volunteered as Advocacy Chair with the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers’ student chapter. He also worked with Community Legal Aid, appearing before administrative tribunals and the Provincial Court to represent low-income clients in small claims, housing, criminal, and provincial offences matters. Prior to joining Bellissimo Law Group PC, Emre completed his articles with a full-service immigration law firm in Toronto, where he assisted individual and corporate clients with temporary and permanent residence applications, as well as citizenship, litigation, and admissibility matters. Emre holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of British Columbia, and a master’s degree in political science from Simon Fraser University. He is fluent in Turkish.
