Zohra Safi
Zohra is called to the Ontario bar. Her passion for immigration and refugee law stems from her experiences working abroad and in Canada in various areas of the law, education and community development. Previously, she worked with the Refugee Law Office and the Integrated Legal Services Office of Legal Aid Ontario (LAO) in Toronto and Ottawa where in addition to immigration law, she also got exposure to criminal and family law litigation in Canadian courts. Zohra’s professional interests lie in global migration and international humanitarian law.
Zohra holds a J.D. from the University of Ottawa and a B.A. from Middlebury College in the U.S., where she also completed a semester-long course in international peace and conflict resolution at the American University in Washington, D.C.
