Are summer travels just not enough for you? If so, then why not venture out to Northern Ontario to explore the province this winter! Ontario is larger than France and Spain combined, is more than 4 times the UK and is more than 15 times the size of Ireland! That being said, there is endless opportunity for adventure and exploration!

Here are a few must- see places in Northern Ontario:

Ouimet Canyon: Thunder Bay’s Ouimet Canyon Provincial Park is 2 kilometres of beautiful canyon extension! It is also home to rare wildflowers that are otherwise only found in the Arctic.

Neys Provincial Park: Located on the north shore of Lake Superior is Neys Provincial Park – 13,000 acres of forestry.  This site is so breathtaking that it was used as inspiration for Group of Seven member Lawren Harris’s famous Pic Island painting!

Manitoulin Island: Although there are various places in which you can see the Northern Lights, this view from Manitoulin Island will leave you speechless. Escape the urban chaos and head to Gordon Park – a Dark Sky Preserve, and a top spot for stargazers!

So get out there and explore the stunning views around this beautiful country, Canada!
