Achieving PR Approval Against the Odds
Our client contacted us for assistance with his permanent residence (PR) application after receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) under the Express Entry (EE) system. He claimed maximum points for his foreign work experience but was unable to provide sufficient evidence to substantiate his employment claims. For most of his employment, he only had job offer letters or employment contracts which didn’t include all the required elements per IRCC guidelines. Additionally, one of the companies had gone bankrupt a few years ago.
After an extensive conversation with the client, our legal team thought creatively and provided him with a comprehensive list of alternative documents to collect to demonstrate his work experience. As the submission deadline approached, however, our client disclosed some medical issues that could potentially render him inadmissible. We promptly involved our admissibility team, who assisted in carefully crafting an explanation to address the statutory questions related to his medical conditions.
We managed to submit the application on time. Three months later, amidst anxious anticipation, his PR application was approved. We are delighted to have facilitated such a positive outcome and wish him all the best.
