This Week’s Success Story: From Medical Inadmissibility to Permanent Residency

We were recently successful in assisting a new economic immigrant who came to Canada to upgrade her education and gain work experience, leading to her application for permanent residence. Unfortunately, she suffered from a medical condition that was considered to cause a demand for Canada’s social services and resources. Following first an examination of her personalized circumstances, we were able to develop a viable and well supported Mitigation Plan to overcome the excessive demand identified by IRCC, and submissions in support of that plan. Following receipt and review by IRCC, we are pleased to report that she has recently been invited to finalize her application for permanent residence.
