Humanitarian & Compassionate arguments in a Parental Sponsorship refusal case lead to successful PR!
Our client sought our help following the refusal of his application to Sponsor his Parents for Permanent Residence (PR), after an Officer determined that he failed to meet the minimum necessary income requirement. In support of his matter and in preparation for the hearing, we prepared a comprehensive documentary disclosure and conducted extensive client interviews.
On the date of the hearing, after testimony from our client, the Minister agreed to a joint recommendation to allow the appeal on humanitarian and compassionate grounds. The Member agreed, rendering a decision on the spot to allow the appeal. We are very pleased that we were able to assist our client in obtaining permanent resident status for his parents in Canada!
