Successfully Overcoming Medical Inadmissibility Due To Kidney Condition

We recently assisted a hard working family, living in Canada, on their permanent residence application. They came to us because IRCC was concerned that our client’s existing kidney condition complicated by an autoimmune disease would cause an excessive demand in Canada in the coming five years. We worked hard over a number of months to put together a plan of care for our client, whose condition gradually changed, requiring dialysis. We consulted with the client’s specialist doctors and coordinators as well as the provincial authorities to put a comprehensive plan of care in place, and balanced with the family’s contributions in Canada. We are very pleased to share that the plan was carefully considered by IRCC and our client was found medically admissible.
