Appreciating Independent Films!
The annual Canadian Film Fest (CFF) will be hosted on March 25th and run through to March 28th. The CFF will be held at The Royal Theatre (formally known as the Pylon), which is a historic cinema located in the heart of Little Italy in Toronto. This 390 seat theatre, which also happens to be a cherished Toronto landmark, first opened in 1939 and currently screens Indie/Art films.
The CFF “is a non-profit organization devoted to the celebration, promotion and advancement of Canadian filmmaking talent”. During this film festival, solely Canadian films will be screened, which provides Canadian filmmakers the opportunity to showcase their talent to others in the film industry. There are a variety of movie genres being showcased throughout the weekend, ranging from Romance to Horror. For a full listing of featured films, please click here.
