Mario Bellissimo testifies before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on Bill S-8

After Bill S-8 was introduced in the Senate on Thursday, June 23, 2022, Mario Bellissimo testified before the Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade on the amendments proposed in Bill S-8. Then proceeding to the House of Commons, the Bill completed its second reading and was referred to the House of Commons Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development. Mr. Bellissimo was invited to testify before this Committee on May 11, 2023, wherein he made five recommendations that we hope will advance the study and decision making on Bill S-8.
