Perks of Winter.. Carnaval de Québec

Posted by Fabiola Arevalo - Bellissimo Law Group PC

Every year Quebec City hosts the largest winter carnival in the world called Carnaval de Québec. This year the carnival will take place from January 30th to February 15th, and is expected to attract almost 600,000 people from all around the world. Bonhomme Carnaval is the Carnaval de Québec mascot who happens to be a large, seven foot snowman with a red hat and red belt. Winter carnivals took place in Quebec City since 1894; however Bonhomme was not born until 1955.

There is a wide selection of activities for people of all ages. Some activities include skating with Bonhomme, parades, ski competitions, bumper cars on ice, outdoor screenings of short films, and much more!
